SandyHook Kids Inspire Hebron Scout
Donation protected
An Eagle Scout project is intended to teach a young man how to create a lasting legacy, with his community, for his community. James Potticary from Boy Scout troop 28 in Hebron, CT was inspired by the kids in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy as they were deprived of their future potential. An 8th grader in 2012, Potticary told his parents, "Those kids were future teachers, nurses, doctors, social workers and future Eagle Scouts." For his Eagle project, he is building an arbor with granite benches at Burnt Hill Park in Hebron as a memorial to Sandy Hook. Potticary has raised funds for supplies and now needs your help to raise the last $1200 for a stamped concrete base to make this a lasting memorial. Donate now to support the potential of all kids, including this Eagle Scout.
