Healing My Neuropathy
I am a veteran who needs assistance financially with medical costs for an Integrative Healing Program for my Severe Neuropathy.

The Medical Issue - I am a veteran, having served during the Vietnamese War. During the past 7-10 years, I have experienced the slow onset of peripheral neuropathy, which is evident in my lower legs and feet; it has progressed during that time period from mild to severe. Neuropathy is a condition of nerve damage caused by different factors. In my case, the probable cause has been linked to gluten intolerance and possible chemical exposure since I am not diabetic. This condition has significantly affected my feet, lower legs, and balance, though I have worked out continuously during this time period with balance exercises and daily walking.
Why am I choosing this Healing Program?
My neuropathy, though not completely debilitating, has progressed in the last 7-10 years from mild to severe. I believe this program gives me the best chance to regenerate feeling in my lower legs. I want to nurture and rehabilitate my health in the most effective way that I presently see. Rather than costly drugs or surgeries, which have proved largely ineffective, according to many conversations with elders with which I have talked, I have chosen this program. This integrative program at St. Luke Integrative Medical Center uses vibrational stimulation, a state of the art electrical stimulation, and regimen of daily neuromatrix support capsules, in addition to encouraging healthy nutritional, anti-inflammatory diet for nerve regeneration. In just the first 2 weeks of the 12 week program, I have seen significant improvement in my leg strength, decreased numbness in my feet, and better balance. This has been accomplished without using any costly neuropathy drugs, which only supply temporary relief and can have harmful side effects.
The Cost of the Treatment
The total cost of the 12 weeks of treatment in the St. Luke’s Neuropathy Healing program is $20,000. Medicare and my supplemental insurance with Humana will cover all but $5,000 of the cost. I have taken out a loan to hopefully cover the $220 monthly payments; unfortunately, these payments are more than I can cover now with my Social Security income, some care work income, and a very small income from my online business and CD sales.
I am requesting your personal help in supporting my healing process. I am asking for gifts of $25-$50 to be sent to my GoFundMe campaign.
