Hassan Zubier Hero Fund
Hassan fought off a knife-wielding terrorist attack in Finland while attempting to save a strangers life. He was stabbed 4 times during the attack and has nerve damage as a result. He is likely in for a very long recovery. During an interview with BBC Hassan said considering everything including his debilitating injuries, he would do it again in an instant. He also stated that this is the world we live in and that good, caring people need each other. He doesn't consider himself a hero; I would not agree. We should all learn his courage, his humility, and selflessness.
Google his story, then vote for good humans with dollars. This guy will need our help.
I will personally guarantee that any funding committed here gets to him.
Update:
Kelly and I are connected with Hassan on Facebook and have been communcating with him about his situation, healing, and the efforts here to help.
Initially he was reluctant to receive any financial assistance. In fact he thought it over for more than a week before he realized that in fact, he was going to need a little help. Again, he has done nothing but demonstrated true humility.
He is now unable to work and his girlfriend is at home with their 8 week old son. If we lived closer, we could offer to cook meals, help around the house, provide child care, etc. but we do not. This campaign is the best way we can show our appreciation for the person that he is and demonstrate to others how good people stick together.
Hassan will received funds directly from the GOFUNDME campaign via wire transfer. He will have access to the whole process.
