Hartnett Family Fire Relief

$6,290 of $7,500 goal

Raised by 93 people in 13 months
Created October 11, 2017
Ryan his dad and their dog Bruno, lost their home and all their possessions in the Tubbs fire early Monday morning on October 9th. They woke up in the middle of the night after smelling heavy smoke and knew they only had minutes to leave for safety. They are staying at the Ohrenschall Guest House at the Romberg Tiburon Center and could use our assistance.
These funds will help Ryan replace furniture, clothes, field gear, and other essentials.  Any and all help is appreciated, thank you for your support!

Hello All, here is an update from Ryan Hartnett and Family:

The past few weeks have been quite the roller coaster and certainly overwhelming. From initial escape, to deciding what's next, going back to see the house and devastation in our neighborhood and scrambling to settle up affairs it has been many ups and downs, lots of tension and tears, but also some healing and looking forward to a brighter future.

This would be unbearable without your outpouring love and support. It means so much to me and my family and has certainly helped us transition into some sort of normalcy... Love you all and I will do my best to put together a thank you card of some sort for all who donated and reached out.

If you haven't donated yet and feel the need to do so, every bit still helps in our ongoing transition back on the road to everyday life....

All the best, be well and prosper!

It has been overwhelming to see the support and generosity shown to Ryan and his family. Thank you so much. In difficult times, it is such a welcome sight to see a community come together to help those in need. As of Monday, October 16th, we hit the $5000 goal and could not be more grateful. Ryan and his dad still need all the help we can give, so we have decided to increase the goal to $7500 for those who have not yet had a chance to donate. We know these generous gifts will help Ryan, his dad, and Bruno and can't thank everyone enough for their generosity!

Thank you all for your continued support and for sharing the campaign with your friends and family. Ryan and his dad have been busy filing insurance claims, making lists of their belongings lost in the fire, and deciding how next to proceed. They are overwhelmed by this tragic situation and with the love and support they've received from the community. $4500 has been raised in only 4 days, thank you.

Thank you all for the outpouring of support for Ryan and his family! The campaign has raised over $2000 in just over a day with 35 people donating and 52 shares! While we have had some donations over $200, don’t forget that even $5 is appreciated and makes a difference! Our thoughts are with everyone else who has been affected by the devastating Northern California fires.
