Down the long and Woolley road

This is a story of a man has given the shirt off his back without asking for a thank you. Greg Woolley has worked in the mental health field for years. He is what some would say a gentle giant. Greg and his wife Savvannah found out recently that they will be having their first child. This came as a surprise because after so much trouble they had with Savvannah having PCOS and fought it they felt that this time would never come, after praying hard and doing the most with medicines, this time arrived. They felt so blessed that their prayers have been answered and given the miracle.

About 3 to 4 weeks ago Savvannah noticed a change in Greg. Greg began forgetting things. Medicines that he thought he forgot and trying to convince that he was supposed to work when it was his day off. You see Greg had went to the doctor a year ago because he had fainted. The doctors completed a MRI and had found nothing.  When a recent MRI was done they found a mass the size of a lemon. The doctor explained to Greg and Savvannah that this mass had been there for a year or more they was puzzled because of not finding it in the prior MRI.

There was a biopsy done and that mass was found out to be brain cancer. This stage 4 cancer is an aggressive cancer. Greg was released from the hospital and was given an appointment to start chemo and radiation. As it being the only option at this time.

Greg’s birthday was on the 14th of November and he got up noticed that the right side of his body went numb. 911 was called and as they was going to the hospital the left side of his body went numb as well.  As of now Greg has gained Todd’s paralysis. But it has still continued to stay instead of going away.

Currently things are being processed in helping with Greg’s finances and medical bills but things take time and the bills continue to grow. And even then it will not help out to the fullest. With a miracle baby on the way comes further items will be needed to care for the child if the worse happens.

I am asking for help. I am asking for the continuing care for a man that will hopefully see his first miracle baby being born into the world. To help cover everyday living expenses as we all know that life does not stop when crisis happens bills still come in and things still need to be covered.  Savvannah is still going to college with trying to care for Greg and what savings they have is slowly diminishing.  Family and friend have helped but family and friends can only help so much. I am asking for you to take your shirts off and give to another as Greg has done to so many others. If you cannot donate then would you please Pray for this family, add and share as this page to your Facebook like Greg’s prayer warriors page and spread the word. Thank you and God Bless you
