A message from Greg's sister, Princess...

Our lives changed on September 28, 2015. Greg went to the Emergency Room for symptoms of the flu. The events that have transpired since then are such that I would not wish on any person or family. From the day he arrived in the hospital until today, God has seen fit to deliver Greg from 2 life threatening health scares of the nature that most do not recover from. To date, he has been transported to 4 different medical facilities, fighting through the various side effects that have occurred throughout this time.
His fight has led to a new, very hopeful, but still difficult journey. The intense rehabilitation that Greg is undergoing at this time is a phase in this journey that we are so grateful to finally be able to witness! In many ways, he will essentially start over, but he is being given an opportunity for a new beginning and if his fight so far is any indication of his will, then we rejoice at the prospects of what is to come! As we anticipate Greg’s needs in the immediate and projected future, we want to feel confident that Greg is afforded access to the special equipment, devices, and rehabilitator tools that exist to facilitate his full recovery. We also do not want the time restraints that are involved with health insurance red tape to dictate the level and extent of Greg’s treatment.
Some of Greg’s strongest supporters and I are launching this page in an effort to provide a medium for others to contribute to Greg’s recovery in any financial, spiritual and emotional support as they feel so moved to do.

Generous and anonymous donors, who have always recognized and valued the many gifts that Greg consistently brings to his community, have donated a set amount of bracelets. They are black and say Pray. Trust. Believe. #FightGreg. While donations are not required to attain a bracelet, please feel free to do so. They have been ordered and are due to arrive within the next ten days or so. Greg has endured and continues to endure many trials in his life. James 1:2 states that “whenever you face trials of many kinds, you know that the testing of your of your faith produces perseverance.” Adopting this sort of perspective on the difficulties of life is not an easy one, but we continue to pray that not only Greg, but we all are embracing this opportunity to deepen our relationships with God, to develop patience that waits on God, and to trust Him for strength. Relying on the support of friends and family has been such a blessing to Greg and the whole family. The prayers and outpouring of love from supporters near and far has been overwhelming, thank you so much.
We thank you in advance for whatever direction your heart feels moved in. My family and I also greatly appreciate and personally thank you for your support as we continue to travel this journey with Greg. Your prayers, encouraging words, cards, messages, they all mean so much to us.
The fight is not over, friends! Be encouraged and of good faith. Please check back here in the future, I will do my best to provide a general update of the journey of faith, healing, and restoration that we continue to travel in the name of Jesus.
