2019 World Scout Jamboree - IST

In 2019 I am off to America, attending the 24th World Scout Jamboree as a member of the International Service Team.
I am very lucky to have been selected after a tough application & selection process of over 1700+ applicants and I will be representing Waltham Forest South Scout District & Greater London North East Scout County.
This trip doesn't come cheap, and despite being a volunteer and providing a service throughout the trip (and from knowledge gained they are long hours) I have to pay at least £2,995.
I'm planning many fundraising activities along with others from Waltham Forest South Scout District (and I'm supporting our 4 Explorer Scouts (Young People) with their fundraising). - I will update details of each fundraising activity within this page as and when the details come to light.
This experience will allow me to support others on the trip as well as build on my own skills which I will be able to bring back with me to the UK and pass onto future generations.
