Scholar/Family in Need

Hi everyone,

I am reaching out to you as the Center Director of the Kramer Higher Achievement Center, where I work in service to middle school scholars/families. I am hoping to help a family in serious need of our support.  

After exhausting many of the services offered by the local government agencies, this family finds itself with an outstanding utility bill. 

I am launching a campaign on behalf of the Ewing family to raise money to help pay this bill. Without our assistance, the family is very likely to lose their current apartment.  We have just two weeks to help the family raise the necessary funds to resume service and meet this requirement of their (HUD) housing agreement.

No child should have to endure the challenges presented by homelessness.  While many families face these challenges, and many more will in the future, we have the unique opportunity to support this family before it comes to that.  Through all of the challenging times, this family has struggled and fought to stay afloat; now they are in dire need of our assistance. Ms. Ewing's work will pick up again in the spring; by then, however, it will be too late to meet this deadline. 

I hope that this campaign is far-reaching and touches enough people to help us meet our goal. Thank you for your time and for your support.
