Uganda Orphanage "Chicken Farm"
$3,100 of $3,100 goal
The children need money for food and school supplies - their only funding is a monthly teaching salary of $77 that the director (Jeremiah Mikenga) collects.
$3,100 is needed to set up a poultry-raising farm, to provide income to support the orphanage. Poultry-Raising is a successful business for many people in Uganda.
If you donate $10, you get two Thank You letters!
if you donate $25, you get a chicken named after you.
If you donate $50, you get a coop named after you.
If you donate $75, you get a fence post named after you.
If you donate $100, you can stay at the orphange, in the guest room, when you visit Uganda.

The GoFundMe crowdsource drive to build a chicken farm in Jinja, Uganda, is progressing quickly.
In just five weeks $1,570 was raised and sent to the twenty AIDS orphans sheltered there.
The money was spent on construction materials for the 200 chickens that will eventually be purchased. The top quality laying hens (imported from Israel and Kenya) will produce enough eggs to feed and support the children and the orphanage staff.

An additional $1,430 is still needed to complete the project. If you know anyone who would like to contribute, please send them to GoFundMe.
There are numerous perks available for donors. If you provide just $25, you get a chicken named after you. $50 gets your name on a coop, $75 gets your name on a fencepost, and $100 provides you with a guesthouse to stay in, whenever you visit Jinga - it’s an adventure travel destination on the Victoria Nile, with white-water rafting and bungee-jumping.
Additionally, all donors receive a wonderful photograph of the cheerful orphans waving a giant “Thank You” poster with your name on it.
