We have established a GoFundMe, “The EBC Therapy Center Rescue Fund,” to collect private donations to save the Center from foreclosure. It is very expensive to run this program, the programs at EBC are not generating enough money to pay the bills and maortgage. The bank will allow EBC to continue, IF they come up with a substantial payment on the amount owed.

Everyone that goes to EBC has a story...
It is not just the horses, its not just a place for special needs children to have recreation with horses. It's a place where the people there make a difference. Liz & Britta use the horses to promote a function for the children with disabilities, such as; body movement, relaxation, speech - It is truely amazing to watch and see.
In August 2004, eighty acres in Berne, NY was purchased by the owners of EBC Therapy Center for the construction of an indoor arena and clinic space. They run several programs for children with special needs (Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebal Palsy) and a Veterans Program through the VA for Veterans with PTSD. In both cases the horses are used to integrate into the individuals treatment plan.
EBC Therapy Center is a full service Outpatient Clinic specializing in integrating HIPPOTHERAPY into treatment plans for children with special needs & veterans. EBC Therapy Center provides quality habilitation services in a professional, family friendly, nurturing and safe environment which encourages clients and families to reach their maximum potential.
My son David has been receiving services there since 2005. Its incredible what a difference it has made in his life. (Decreased anxiety, First time utterance of speech, muscular coordination, decrease in sleep disturbances - many many more break throughs and growths in his behavior).
These are good, compassionate, hardworking people, proud, private and not accustomed to asking for help. But they need your assistance to maintain the services, programs and building/arena they provide those services.
