Duke Alumni LDN Breakfast Challenge
Donation protected
We would love to get some new volunteers to come and join us on the 28th of April for our London Duke Engage Event, the breakfast challenge at the Whitechapel Mission in East London:
Date: Saturday April 28th
Time: 5:45 am to 11:30 am
Place: The Whitechapel Mission, 212 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1BJ
Breakfast Challenge: Cook and serve breakfast to those in need. 10 volunteers wanted for a hands on volunteering experience! We will be cooking eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, toast, etc and serving coffee and tea to the homeless and needy.
Too early, you can still help by meeting us at 11:30am at the Mission for a brief presentation from the Director of the Mission Tony Miller. Any food or clothing donations you can bring would be most appreciated. Afterwards we will all go to a local cafe for debriefing and socializing.
If you are unable to make it on the day, you can still help by making a donation to our GoFundMe page. Donations will be used to purchase much needed food, toiletries and clothing for the needy. 100% of donations will go directly to the Mission.
