Cpl. Albert Storm CD Park Upgrade

The Cpl. Albert Storm CD Memorial Playground is a community built playground located at Waterfront Park in Crystal Beach (Fort Erie) Ontario. It was built on September 19th, 2009 with the help of hundreds of people and with money raised by The Crystal Beach Firefighter's Association. The park is named in honour of Cpl. Albert Storm CD, who was killed by a suicide bomber on November 27, 2006 while serving our country in Afghanistan.
Since the time of the original build, the Crystal Beach Firefighters Association has raised money for and installed a set of swings.
The CBFA is now raising money to once again upgrade the park. This current fundraising effort will see the addition of a new swing bank that will feature an "Expression Swing" which is a unique swing that has a seat for parents that faces a second seat for small children. An expression swing allows parents & kids to enjoy play time on the swing together.
A date for installing this addition has not yet been set as it will be entirely dependant on how long it takes to raise the $8,000-$10,000 that is required to install a new swing bank with an expression swing.
Donations can also be made directly to the Crystal Beach Firefighter's Association.
