Join Us in our incredible East End mission!!
Citizens 4 Humanity believes in "people helping people". We are a "grass roots" volunteer organization based on the East End of Long Island, New York. Our mission is to help feed families in need for the holidays and throughout the year as made possible.
Become a Citizen 4 Humanity today and Feed a Family for the holidays! Our mission is to feed local East End families in need (with a focus on struggling single mom families) below the poverty line. Names are provided by local community groups and school districts.
In collaboration with local farms, Citizens4Humanity purchases food for low costs. Every dollar goes for food purchasing and determines how many families will be fed. Chef Marco Barrila/ Insatiable EATS Catering at Water Mill Square spearheads the movement and matches a meal for every donation. We randomly select which families to serve each week based on areas of the East End.
To Sponsor a Family, you can make a donation here or mail to 670 Montauk Hwy #1448, Water Mill, NY 11976. You can also call to donate gifts, new clothing or provide gift cards to single mothers and their children.
To Volunteer, provide us with your hours of availability and your preference for serving. Volunteers help with cooking/ packing/ deliveries. Our kitchen is at the Muses in Southampton which is next to the Greek Church at 111 St. Andrews. We will try to schedule you based on your location so that you might also make the deliveries.
