Chelsea PTO is raising money for everything that makes North Creek and South Meadows Elementary Schools fun, educational and exciting for your children!
WHO: Every child at North Creek and South Meadows Elementary School and of course our special guest, Paws…our Bulldog Mascot!
WHAT: A “Bulldog Jog” is a walk-a-thon/run-a-thon kid style. A Bulldog Jog is not a race or a speed competition. It’s an opportunity for students to have fun, while doing something healthy and supporting their school. Each class will have a designated time slot. Each student will receive an achievement reward and snack at the end.
WHERE: North Creek and South Meadows- held on school campus, during school hours.
WHEN: The “Bulldog Jog” is October 10th MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW!! Each class will have a designated time slot. Those times will be published at a later date. All parents, grandparents, and little siblings are welcome to come cheer on the kids. North will start in the morning and South will start in the afternoon.
WHY: North Creek, South Meadows, and the Chelsea PTO understands that promoting health and wellness is more important than ever to our youth, therefore we have chosen a Bulldog Jog as our major fund raiser this fall. This was a huge success last year bringing in over $19,000; making this single fundraiser able to support the PTO annual budget.
Through our fund raising events, Chelsea PTO provides funding to teacher grants, family fun nights, science/geography nights, library books, classroom technology, planners, classroom supplies, playground equipment, staff appreciation meals, and much more. This fundraiser will help Chelsea PTO do it all!!
The Bulldog Jog is Easy & Healthy. No products to hassle sales, no pick up or deliveries. Just gather small pledges, it all adds up! If everyone helps, everyone wins! Contributions in any amount are welcome and appreciated. Your participation in the fundraising of this event is completely optional. All students present the day of school will participate in the “Bulldog Jog” regardless if they took part in collecting contributions.
HOW: Please help us by helping your child raise $20 in pledges. If each student were able to raise just $20- we would meet our goal! OUR SCHOOL GOAL IS TO RAISE $20,000. Pledges can be made online, cash, check, or all of the above. This campaign is being run by the Chelsea PTO treasurer, Kasie Cousino.
