We are excited to inform you about the extremely wonderful and rewarding work being done in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic through the non-for-profit organization Casa Hogar El Pozo de Jacob. This organization was founded in 2004 by the Rev. Melania Cruz after God placed in her heart to start an organization to help orphaned children and disadvantaged elderly in the Santo Domingo area. This organization has been funded through donations and has already served thousands of children and elderly. However, there is still so much more to be done.
Since it's start in 2004, Casa Hogar El Pozo de Jacob has had medical doctors and nurses donate their time and resources to ensuring that children receive their necessary vaccinations, along with proper medical care. We have served communities in some of the most disadvantaged communities in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We want you to know that the organization is recognized by the governing bodies in the Dominican Republic and we have the presidential seal on the organization's mission and goals.
Currently the orgnization is under construction, however due to the costs of materials, there is still more to be done. Our goal is to have a place where these children and elderly can call home. We are doing the work, but do not yet have an orphanage built due to low resources and funding. This is where you come in! With your donation, you will be helping hundreds of children, elderly, and disadvantaged families who are in desperate need of a helping hand. Anything you give will be put to great use. All that we ask is that you give and spread the words to your friends and families so that they can also give.
