Carmen with Cancer Needs Heat!

Their 18-year-old HVAC just went out.
Their 1997 Ford Escort died 24 hours later, and their much-loved suburban is ready for retirement.
This situation is doubly life-critical for my sister. This past October Carmen was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer. She is undergoing an intensive Chemotherapy regimen, a total of 16 treatments upon completion, then there’s surgery, radiation and reconstruction to come. All while finishing grad school in counseling. Her white blood cell count is critically low, and she must do everything she can to protect herself from cold and illness.
Whether you know my sister and her family or not, they are truly wonderful and giving people! Jase, a nurse and veteran, is Carmen’s rock. Their two oldest sons, now paying their way through college are Eagle Scouts. Their oldest daughter, a recent new mother (smile), is a child-cancer survivor! Their middle daughter is home from college lending an extra hand. Their youngest daughter recently shaved her head and donated her hair to support Carmen! Even in their challenging circumstances they have always found ways to serve – others as well as each other – even now you will find them first in line to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Can you help?
$9800 will gift them a new HVAC system with extended warranty, or $750 will fix the current HVAC system with a limited warranty. The used car they are looking to buy is $8700 after taxes and fees, and the payment processing fees to run this campaign will be deducted at 2.9% + .30 cents per individual donation.
The goal amount of this campaign will not cover what they have lost with a dead HVAC, car, and growing medical bills. Yet, it is with high hopes this service rendered unto them will lighten their heavy load and bring a physical and emotional warmth to my sister’s family as they feel the support of many.
