CLC Pastors Shocked By Power Lines

Community Life Center Pastors from Port Charlotte, Florida were injured in a power line accident as they were trimming palm trees on the church property.  



The outcome would have been much worse if the transformer did not blow.   We are thankful to God that their lives were spared however there are ongoing needs for both of these men and possible expenses due to damage to property and equipment.  Both Senior Pastor Mark Coffey and  Youth Pastor Kalvin Kress were injured and airlifted to Blake Medical Center Burn Unit in Bradenton.   Pastor Kalvin Kress remains in ICU with burns to  40% of his body.  He underwent surgery on 11/7 for debridement.  

Pastor Kalvin is celebrating his 45th birthday in ICU today, thankful to be alive.  He has a loving wife and two children.  Pastor Coffey has been transferred to a regular room.  The electricity entered through his hand and out his foot.  He also has a loving wife and three children.   We are looking for support to help these pastors through this accident and the church with any expenses related.  If you feel led to help out, we would be greatly blessed.  

These are wonderful men of God with families that would do anything for anyone.  Now it is their turn, they need our help.
