The holiday season is quickly upon us. Historically it is a time in whichwe serve more individuals and families who need to come out of the cold and rain when they have no place to live. It is very sad seeing them huddle through our doors looking for a decent place to lay their heads and eat a warm meal.
This is where we step up. We are - and have been - the only homeless shelter in Vallejo for the last 33 years. And throughout the years we have seen how much more the needs have grown, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
We are requesting your partnership during this Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year 2017 to help us bless our homeless guests with nightly bed shelter and three meals daily. Our average cost for one night bed shelter and three meals for one homeless guest is $21. We average 80 guests every night for 365 days. If you can sponsor 1 or 2 or 3 or more homeless guests for one night, it will help us establish our operational budget for 2017. Thank you for your friendship and partnership for 33 years that Christian Help Center has been serving the poor.
