Intersectional LGBTQ+ Project
Donation protected
The team at Cachín Cachán Cachunga! (Sandra, Lawrence, Izdihar, Red and Alison) need your help to fund a season of accessible open mic & community events for intersectional trans, intersex & queer people in Edinburgh and beyond. Outside of our professional activities, we want to create a safer space where people can gather to share ideas, eat, and enjoy some art.
27th September: open mic with feature performer + pre-show community discussion on class + free-to-enter health lottery.
25th October: open mic with feature performer + pre-show disabled- and D/deaf-only community gathering + free-to-enter health lottery.
29th November: open mic with feature performer + pre-show Racialised/POC-only community gathering + free-to-enter health lottery.
27th December: Post-Apocalyptic Holidays Come-down Survival Party + free-to-enter health lottery.
**Donations of £20 or more will get a season pass to all 3 Open Mic events!**

· other organisational & access costs
· exciting monthly lottery that will potentially include
LGBTQ-friendly chiropractic, massage,

with immigration costs and trans healthcare.
Cachín Cachán Cachunga! is an independent Scottish arts company that produces visual, recorded and live art by intersectional LGBTQ+ people.
Cachín Cachán Cachunga! is dedicated to creating high-quality artistic works about and by trans, intersex and queer people – with added emphasis on artists who also identify as migrant, minority ethnic, racialised, people of colour, working class, working poor, D/deaf, ill, crip and/or disabled. We mentor and collaborate. We encourage risk-taking and experimentation.
Cachín Cachán Cachunga! produces accessible arts events for both audiences and artists. We aim to provide level access, Braille, large print, audio description, film captioning, surtitling, BSL interpretation, and quiet space. We celebrate intersectional identities, and encourage both emerging and established artists from our communities to develop their practice in a safe yet artistically challenging environment.
