Rugby League Kits for Burundi

£170 of £250 goal

Raised by 7 people in 6 days
I have offered to help Jean Du Christ Rusiga, president of Burundi Rugby League, to gather funds for kit for his budding young players in Africa.

I spoke with Jean for an upcoming article in Rugby League World magazine, whom I have written for two years, and felt complled enough to help his cause.

At current, as pictured, many players are playing on harsh terrains with humble resources and often without a shirt.

The goal would be able to kit out a side in the developing nation and a shirt would be a huge difference to an African child.

On the back of this, we hope it inspire youngsters and develop the game in Burundi as anyone with a sports shirt in the country will be the talk of the town!

The money will be transferred directly to Jean by bank transfer once the goal has been reached. I organised this GoFundMe page as a token gesture and I will give the full amount to Burundi Rugby League to obtain kit.

Please help the game spread in Burundi and thank you for taking your time to read this!
