The night of Wednesday July 20th gun shots rung out 5 feet away from where I was prepping plates to sale food to BAM Night Club party goers. While dodging bullets a fryer was knocked over and I was splashed with boiling cooking oil. I was rushed to Plantation General Hospital where I was said to have 1st and 2nd degree burns on my entire backside. I was transported to Kendall Regional Medical Center where I undergone several surgeries and was told that I actually have 2nd and 3rd degree burns. I will be hospitalized for the entire summer.  I'm asking that you find it in your hearts to donate whatever you can and share this story. Thank you. I plan to start a foundation to bring awareness to burn survivors and self-love.
