Fighting for my kids

I’m in desperate need of help. My kids were placed into foster care almost 3 years ago and from the beginning they have shown no intention of returning them. This is a case of a corrupt system and an extreme power trip. I have done everything they have asked except that I will not keep my other children, that I have at home, away from their father. He is very hands-on, involved, loving, caring father. They are using his criminal history from over 5 years ago as an excuse to not let my kids come home. His criminal record consists of simple batery and disorderly 


They have used every excuse imaginable to delay, change, and end visits. A few of them being that I let my daughter stand on a chair to see her pet even though I was standing right with her, not folding and putting my clothes away immediately after drying them, and not being able to get my children to nap on the one day a week that they got to come home. They have also tried opening cases on the other children that I have at home. Every time this was done the cases have been closed right away. One social worker even told me that she is not concerned with the other social worker's concerns because they are not legit reasons to open cases and were things that happened over a year prior to the case. This was done even though the social worker hasn’t done a home visit in over 6 months.


From the beginning, when rules were set I would follow them. Then they would take me to court to change the rules in order to make sure that I was “non-compliant”. When I followed the new rules, they changed them once again. This happened 3 times. The county filed a termination of parental rights and when we went to trial, in March, it ended in a mistrial. After 6 hours, the jury was deadlocked 6 to 6 and the case was dismissed by the judge.


The foster family is trying to adopt my daughters. Before the county ever filed to terminate my parental rights, the foster family set up a GoFundMe page raising several thousand dollars to pay for a lawyer TO ADOPT my girls; my daughters who are not up for adoption! They have used their status and influence to affect my case. I have had to fight with the courts to see my kids because every time my visits were increased, the foster family would say whatever they needed to say to get my visits taken from me. They have openly made comments about how they can’t eat and can’t sleep because they are so scared to lose ‘their’ girls.


When the county didn’t succeed in taking my parental rights, instead of continuing with "reunification," they decided to file another termination of parental rights. My family has already paid $10,000 to a lawyer to fight the same case over again.


The county has abused their power and manipulated my children. They have denied me my parental rights for 3 years, even though I still legally have them. They are wrong and power hungry. They have hurt my children, my family, my other children (their brother and sisters) and myself. They need to be exposed. My children are crying out to be heard and nobody is listening.


Since this started, I have put myself through college, maintained a job for over a year, I live in my own house, I am drug-free, my house is clean, safe and has enough rooms for all of us.  We are a loving, hands-on, caring family and they are keeping my children from me. It is not right!


Please help me expose them in court and help me get my kids back home where they belong. I have provided links below to articles that describe what I am going through. This is not a rare thing. CPS is getting away with legal kidnapping all over the country. Help me bring my babies home. The lawyer estimates it will be another $10-$15,000 to get through the next trial.
