Physical Therapy in Haiti

I want to thank everyone who supported my 2017 trip to Haiti by donating money toward expenses, offering me advice and support, donating shoes and supplies, and simply offering words of encouragement. I was a part of a talented team of therapists, medical practitioners, prosthetists, and translators from the US and Haiti and we were able to treat 850 Haitians over the course of the week. I treated people with acute and old fractures, head injuries, chronic pain, headaches, scar tissue, and many other injuries that I have never encountered before. I learned so much over the course of the week and I am planning to continue to hone my skills and return next year to try to make an even bigger impact on the quality of life of the beautiful people of Haiti.
