We Believe that Dreams Are Possible
Welcome to Beautiful Dreamers located in suburban Atlanta, GA, in the city of Buford and the United States Virgin Islands. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is governed by a board of directors. Beautiful Dreamers provide Educational and Mental Health community-based programs for those who are in need of specialized support for a functional lifestyle. We have partnered with CW Educational and Behavioral Center to meet the needs of the community. We realize that the academic success and wellbeing of children are dependent on the stability of the parents, and as such, have collaborated those two areas to effect lasting change.
Mission
Beautiful Dreamers believes in the holistic approach of educating and treating the family. As it pertains to education, we believe that in a supportive educational environment, every student can learn regardless of environmental factors, special education labels and/or psychological diagnoses. It is also our philosophy that every child has the right to dream and see his or her dreams materialize. As a consequence, we are committed to:
Building self-esteem and self-confidence in our students and parents
Providing a nurturing environment free from negativity
Providing self-empowerment workshops and/or seminar(s) for students and parents
Increasing academic success in the classroom
Giving students the ability to reach the national educational standards equivalent to their non-disabled counterparts
Making students aware that they are all “college bound” and/or employable
Changing mindsets by reinforcing positive behaviors for successful outcomes
Vision
To develop the whole student by providing family support while equipping the child with the academic, social, and personal skills needed for the realization that his/her Dreams are possible.
