As vegans passionate about bombass food, we recognize that there is a need in Gainesville, FL, for a sinful variety of baked goods so delicious you wouldn't even know they are vegan. We envision ourselves slinging brownies, cookies of all kinds, and even some healthier options like protein truffle balls!
Allie McDaniel has been vegan for five years and has worked in food service for 8 years, with 4 years management experience. Jordana Barth has been vegan for one year and has worked in food service for four years, with 1.5 years management experience.
Our short term goals with this GoFundMe campaign include start-up costs such as equipment needed for farmer's market stands, eco-friendly packaging, a logo, etc. We have already invested much of our own time and money into recipe ingredients and we intend on investing more! Right now we are operating under cottage food law, but eventually we would like our own commercial kitchen so you can pick up our goods around town at places such as Ward's and Vegan2Go.
Our goal is to have ten recipes ready to sell at farmer's markets by September 1st. After that we would like to expand as much as our customers want from us. More recipes, more options for pick-up and delivery, and more love for vegan dessert!
