Ballet Artists Collective

We, the Ballet Artists Collective (BAC), are a group of classically trained ballet dancers devoted to broadening the accessibility of both classical and contemporary ballet. With the unexpected closing of Silicon Valley Ballet (formerly Ballet San Jose), a group of some of the most accomplished dancers on the West Coast were left unemployed and without the ability to share their craft. As a phoenix rises from the ashes, we have come together to create a new way of connecting the Bay Area residents and corporations to the world of dance in order to keep ballet thriving in San Jose.


BAC looks to enrich the community and reanimate the art of dance in the Bay Area by pioneering a new and innovative business model. We at BAC believe that in order for ballet to thrive in an ever-changing technology driven economy, we must allow our audiences and corporations the chance to contribute and connect with the art form. We seek to collaborate with different mediums, artists, and companies in order to create and unveil innovative performances that will impress the Bay Area for years to come.


With your donations and support, we can establish a foundation and have the means to expand and reach a greater audience. Your money would directly cover business expenses, dancer fees, venue rentals, and operational costs. Collectively, we can work together to sustain ballet’s cultural presence in Silicon Valley. Our dancers have trained their whole lives to do this, so please give them the opportunity to reach new artistic achievements that will make San Jose a brighter city to live in.
