A State of Darkness - The Comic?

My name is Wing, though I'm pretty sure that everyone here already knows that. For years, I've been tinkering around with fiction, writing various things that barely see the light of day. Yet still,  the light received is to be cherished.  That light has illuminated quite a few friends and quite a few dreams, and that is why I'm here now.

You see, I have a story. I have a story that I've been piecing together for several months, but I have a dream with origins that stretch even further into history. I've always wanted to see the words I've written transformed into a visual medium, and I find that this dream is obtainable with a little bit of help from you.

I also mentioned that I gained some friends along the way, and this is a pretty crucial part of the tale. I have an artist friend who needs to dive into this kind of job. I have a story ready to be transformed. I just need the final piece of the puzzle, which is the ability to pay my amazing artist friend for the swag work she does. 

So I'm asking for your help. Will you all help me transform 80,000+ words of actiony fanfiction into the comic that I absolutely have to see? But more importantly, will you all help me be a stand-up friend?
