We are a volunteer first aid and EMS service that helps out charities and organizations in need.
In the event we make more than 6000.00, remaining funds will be used to make more kits for medics.

Who are we:
Armour On Safety (AOS) Medical Division is an unofficial volunteer branch of AOS, that I hope will become its own entity one day. Currently, I (Zak Souter-Lucas) donate a lot of my time in order to run the medical division’s administration, finances, and operations. To help with legalities and expenses, Kris my partner has graciously allowed AOS: Medical Division to be insured under AOS: Training Division.
As of now, we are a team of 30+ professional volunteers. The majority of us come from paramedic backgrounds, with a growing population of LPNs and RNs. Additionally, we on occasion host other professionals, such as Fire, Dispatch and Police Officers that help us in specialised events. Our communities as first responders and active/veteran members of the military is close and the support we receive is amazing.
Our Drive:
Certain events are obliged to have medical services available to be able to run, due to the high cost of these services, a lot of the great charities, events and organisations we help were at risk of losing valuable finances meant to go towards charities, some of them even risked shutting down. We help fundraisers that are unable to fund the costs of medical services by providing volunteer first aid services. We believe that it would be a shame for these fundraisers to fall through due to the inability to find affordable first aid.
Why we need your help:
As Armour On Safety grows in the years to come, my ability to personally fund my goal will become easier. As of right now, particularly with a slower economy, it has become increasingly difficult to fund and allocate resources. I have started the process by personally funding and/or acquiring the following essential equipment: an ambulance unit; bandaging and other trauma related supplies; a generic Automated External Defibrillator (AED); an old stretcher; a pop-up career fair tent as well as old medical kits filled with donated medical supplies.
We need your help to be able to purchase some pieces that would really benefit AOS: Medical Division, as well as help us advance from providing Volunteer First Aid services into providing Volunteer Basic Life Support services. I`ve broken down where finances would go below.

What we are looking to purchase and what this Go-fund me is about.
3000.00 CND
-To be allocated to purchasing a Life Pak 12 or equivalent. We have access to a few deals ranging from 2500.00-3000.00 CND plus shipping.
This will help us with a more modern approach to vitals taking as well as broadening our patient care. As we graduate into Volunteer BLS services, this will aid us in delivering a higher standard of care.

-Will be allocated to putting decals on the ambulance unit. We have gotten a great deal from a Canmore local shop, dramatically reducing the cost.
This will help with professional and public image as we bring ourselves from Volunteer first aid services, to Volunteer BLS services.

-Will be allocated to updating our uniform with patches, striping and more. Uniformity is important for access and identification of volunteers at an event. This will help with professional and public image as we bring ourselves from Volunteer first aid services, to Volunteer BLS services.
