Hello, my name is David Curry. I am an incredibly loving and excellent father to my seven year old daughter; Adinda Jenny Curry and have been since her birth.
On June 25, 2016 Adinda was abducted completely illegally and taken out of the country by her mother, Savitri (Dewi) Curry to Indonesia.
I have spent the better part of the past two years in Family Court in Sacramento, California fighting for my child's rights against the abuses of her mother (3 arrests for assault ), physical abuse to Adinda, 4x emotional abuse verified by CPS on 4 different occasions against her, her father assaulting my daughter and resulting restraining order -and this is where she is now! Throughout all of this I did everything right -------as evidenced by my documented timeline of our life (mine and Adinda's) on Facebook, together since her birth. During the past two years despite having to battle in court with someone who couldn't co-parent, I was able to attend college almost full time, work and raise my daughter almost full time; while losing the car in court and doing all of this on foot, bike and bus with a child during her 4th to 7th years, all the while raising her excellently. I had anywhere from 70-100% custody of my daugher during this time; of which also I was and still am her custodial parent.
The events leading up to this day were so unbearable at times, that in truth I should have asked for financial help last year or even earlier and I know this unbelivable nightmare would not be happening right now. Well, in fact I didn't ask enough people and world wide.
The fact is this is the very most extreme and dire situation and I truly, for my daughter Adinda Jenny Curry desperately need money now to save her life!
When I married Savitri in 2008 (so she could become a US citizen) I was somewhat skeptical. I knew I loved her but wasn't sure the feelings were mutual.
When we were having our child together, Adinda, I assumed she would come around and be the wife and mom I thought she'd be.
This was not to be. She kept the marriage from her father, a fanatical muslim who immediately forbid the marriage. I won't say she didn't try to be a good mom because in the beginning she really did. She even tried to be my wife -but her religion and father were always in the background, forbidding our relationship.
I tried my best during these years, I really did..despite the madness and rejection I always worked and provided for my family. It wasn't enough if (they'd insisted) I didn't convert to their Islamic religion. I checked it out like I promised her, despite her never looking into mine, but remained what I am to this day, a follower of Christ. I always depite the circumstances and my finances made these years as special and wonderful always for my child, as they should be, I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AN EXCELLENT DAD!
I was truly a prisoner in my own home for 5 years.
Finally in 2013 I couldn't take the rejections, insults, violence over and over from an extremely evil spirited and hurtful woman and I asked her for a divorce.
We mutually agreed and started the process in the court system.
She immediately moved out with Adinda and began keeping her from me.
During the past two years this woman has done major emotional and mental damage to a child -I could list numerous additional events, police, dr. reports etc. but that is already in the Superior court and Police files and is being thoroughlly investigated by them.
I have been in constant contact with the authorities since the begiinning: Sacramento Sheriiff's Detective Bureau, Sacramento DA Child Adbduction Unit -Bruce Anderson, Esther Kim -Country Officer for Intrenational Child Abduction Bureau and I've heard almost nothing in 32 days.
I've forwarded a 500 page documented file containing all the parenting orders, no travel restrictions, arrest records etc. to all of them and finally the Indonesian prosecutor this week.
I am asking for funding and I promise to pay in full every penny plus 20% interest for every donation recieved.
I know it's going to be a long road because Indonesia isn't part of the Hague convention and even though she was taken from th country illegally I may have to travel to Indonesia to present all my legal documents to the court, hire a lawyer and travel.
I will sincerely and truly gratefully appreciate anything you can do to help us during this challenging and traumatic time. God bless you all and you are all in my prayers for protection and all of the great things God has to offer us in this life.
