Dr. Young Ko's clinical study
$15,710 of $140,000 goal
I have now had conversations with two of the researchers mentioned in the book, Dr. Pete Pederson and Dr. Young Ko. While Dr. Pederson is still trapped in academia Dr. Ko, after 20 years of bucking big money, has broken out of her own to pursue this 3BP cancer cure.
The concept is brilliant in its simplicity. Warburg discovered fifty years ago that cancers obtain much of its adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by the metabolism of glucose into lactic acid. Cancer cells produce this ATP by fermentation despite the presence of oxygen. Dr. Ko discovered that 3BP (actually it is 3-BrPa or 3 – bromopyruvic acid) was cancer’s Achilles heel/heal in that it mimicked lactic acid and therefore migrated across the cancer cell’s otherwise impenetrable cell wall to cause localized hypoglycemia. Other biguanides (hypoglycemia-inducing drugs) are 2DG (2 – deoxyglucose) and high doses of Vitamin C. Ninety-five percent of all cancers have this in common, that their cells have switch from an oxygen based process of making the ATP (which is the basic energy for the cell) to one based on the direct fermentation of glucose. The cancer cells then slips into a self-preservation mode, cut off communication and replicate prolifically using this glucose energy source. Involved in the process is the transformation of hexokinase into hexokinase II which actually allows the cell to make the ATP directly from glucose. Another beauty of 3BP is that it can cross the blood brain barrier so is effect in curing glioblastoma.
Dr. Ko has a clinical trial approved in Poland with 12 cancer patients. She has raised some money and only needs $150,000 to complete the clinical trial. I have given $10,000 so we only need the $140,000. Since this is not something where the larger pharmaceutical companies can make big money, they are not interested in contributing any funding. 3BP can be purchased at good chemical supply house and will render some of their expense genomic and other expensive targeted therapies weakened.
Dr. Young Hee Ko, Ph.D. is the CEO of KODiscovery LLC.

I am this day transferring $15,598 USD ($19393.77 Canadian dollars which I rounded up to $20 K ) to the Single Cause Single Cure Foundation. Rapid City SD.
We all wish Dr. Ko success and look forward to having positive results of her clinical trials.
This GoFundMe campaign is now closed but the battle against cancer continues as we work on new and innovative ways towards the metabolic cure.
I hope everyone will read Dr. Thomas Seyfried's Cancer as a Metabolic Disease.
For more science behind the cure please read Dr. Thomas N. Seyfried's book "Cancer as a metabolic Disease. "
Thanks again to everyone!
In closing this campaign I would like to thank everyone for their contributions and sharing of this all important approach to the cure.
I have shared the post and just seen it says no longer accepting donations. Can someone please ad some light to this?
Cheers to you, Geoff, on this contribution that you have spearheaded. And very best wishes to Dr. Ko on the results of her clinical trials.
Yes, by all means, please use my previous donation to further this important work in this new direction.
Hi Geof, Is there a commercial opportunity to invest in 3BP? Thanks!
Dr Ko's link seems broken
The goal no longer shows $10,000 - it now reads $140,000. What happened?
My sincere sympathies go out to Dr. Ko, and also my utmost respect for her cancer research. I hope this gofundme campaign gets going soon, the world needs her discovery desperately. ***Mr. Taylor, I stumbled upon the name of a veterinarian in Winter Park, Fl. Who you may be able to collaborate with- he recently lost his wife to cancer and they had only discovered Dr. Ko and her work right before his wife passed. His name is Loren T. Nations, I hope he can help. I tried to contact him through a link that didn't work, unfortunately. Best of luck to all who are working to get this brilliant cancer cure out there.
My sympathy and love go out to Dr. Ko, at the loss of her mother. It is times like this that the prayers that everyone is sending may be of some comfort. I hope that Dr. Ko will be able to continue her work again soon, for everyone who continues to lose someone close to them through this terrible disease, when the answer has been there for many years. My heart is heavy,
My sympathy to Dr. Ko in the loss of her Mom...very difficult at any age.
