Walk to York for Sanctuary for Kids

A group of us will be doing a sponsored walk from Leeds to York (25 miles) on the 26th July 2014. All money raised will go to a charity that we all care very deeply about. Sanctuary for Kids. “Sanctuary for kids is a non for profit organisation. The mission of Sanctuary for Kids is to improve the lives of children around the world who need protection and are in crisis – those who are exploited, dispossessed and threatened.”

We have set our goal quite high, but we know how generous our fandom is and we hope you will help us reach it.

We all do however, understand that money is tight at the moment for many people and it can be a struggle to sponsor, but honestly EVERY PENNY HELPS.It could be 10 pence. It could be 1 pound. It could be 10 pounds. Whatever you feel comfortable donating will help us out tremendously to reach our goal. We will also be getting sponsored individually using sponsor sheets at home. After we have been sponsored, we will collect all the money a week before the walk. It will be put in a safe place until after the event and we will then be told the total amount of money raised when we reach the finish line. Honestly, the smallest donation can make such a big difference.

We have been given the go ahead by Sanctuary for Kids but we are in no way affiliated with the charity itself. We are simply doing what we can to raise funds and donate to them. We hope you will join us on the journey!
