Ceremonial Drum - Wounded Knee Ride
Chuck has determined that he needs to raise $3,000 for the building of the Pow-wow Drum and for his journey to South Dakota to play the drum for the opening ceremonial prayers and songs and for daily prayers. Mr. Greywolf will be building the drum with volunteers after a Chili Feed/Fund Raiser on December 12th in Bulh, Idaho. Funds raised will be used to build the drum and for Chuck's expenses for his travels, lodging and food.
If you are interested in helping to make the drum and/or send prayer ties with the drum, please send Chuck a personal Facebook message.
As the Ride will take place less than a month, the sooner that funds can be raised the better.
Please feel free to invite your friends and family to participate. No donation is consider "too small" and everything is greatly appreciated. If you cannot donate monetarily, prayers are always appricated.
Thank you for your thoughts, encouragement and love...
And, in the immortal words of Mr. Greywolf, LOLOMA!
Also, today is the last day of this fund drive for Chuck Greywolf and the Spirit Pow Wow drum, Mz. Peace. Blessings to all who have donated in time, prayers and monetarily. We are asking any who can, to dig a little deeper to help closer to our goal. Thank you, each and everyone, for volunteering your time and energy to help Chuck mitigate some of the expense of this Soul Journey.
He may be angry with me when I tell this next bit of information (but so be it ). As many of you know, Chuck is among many things, an excellent chef. And being so, he of course volunteered to be one of the cooks for the ride. After only 3 days of being in South Dakota, he had already spent $750.00 out of his own pocket on food for the Riders. I just wanted to impart that bit of info for all to know that this is an endeavor of the Heart, but it is one that takes funding. Thanks for reading and pass the word if you will.
Love, Light and Peace to all. LOLOMS
Chuck called this morning... it is COLD in South Dakota but the Ride goes on. Chuck says that this is the biggest, most wonderful spiritual endeavor of his life. And all of you have contributed and we are very grateful.
Good News... We are able to run this fund drive to extend until the end of the ride, which is December 29th. If any of you know of anyone who may be interested in supporting Chuck and Mz. Peace on the Ride, please direct them to this page. All is greatly appreciated.
Oh, by the way, Chuck has become one of the volunteer chefs on the road! Good, hot food is a must when the temps dip so low. Chuck is purchasing much of the food from his own pocket, so any donation is a godsend.
ARE THE PAINTINGS BEHIND YOU FOR SALE ?
My son, Jonathan knows this man. This Native American is preparing for a journey celebrating his cultural history. He will build a ceremonial drum by hand as a gift to take with him. If any of my FB friends feel moved to donate to make his gift and Journey a reality, please feel free to donate whatever amount you can.
