Help Janene Fight Adrenal Cancer

One of the sweetest ladies I know is suddenly facing a life threatening illness.
Janene Giordano-Beane is loved by so many people. Her family loves her dearly as well as her close friends, her students, and her coworkers. A few months ago, Janene began experiencing pain in her side, The doctors located a mass that needed to be removed immediately. Following the removal of the tumor, Janene learned some of the cells have tested as malignant---Adrenal cancer.
It is very rare and very aggressive. Because it is so rare, there is not much research on it. Janene had surgery on March 21st, and the doctor feels that he got it all, but he can't be 100% certain. The doctor does not want to take any chances with this type of cancer. The traditional chemotherapy is thought to hurt the body more than get rid of this type of cancer. After a meeting of the cancer board at Piedmont Hospital Atlanta, the doctors decided Janene's best option is to do a clinical trial located in New York City at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Janene's first appointment is April 12th in New York City.
The expense of traveling back and forth to New York City for treatment will begin to place a financial burden on Janene's family quickly.
