Our dear sister, Lori Callahan, suffered an unexpected complication from a surgical procedure that resulted in an emergency medical situation on March 30, 2016. She developed acute subdural hematomas and micro hemorrhages in the cerebral hemisphere of her brain (bleeding in the brain). These are potentially deadly injuries.
Lori was rushed by helicopter to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She was in a very precarious situation in the ICU, but thanks to exceptional care from her doctors and prayers from family & many friends, she is now home and on a slow road to recovery, with some hurdles still ahead.
The loss of income Lori is experiencing will be extremely taxing on her financially. We want to make sure she can have financial stability as she heals from this life-threatening situation.
As her sisters, we would be overwhelmingly grateful for any contribution you can make so Lori can focus on recovering her health instead of being worried about her bills. Our wish is to help her get strong for her precious grandbabies!
