Our mother, Carol Greene, was diagnosed with stage iv colon cancer at the end of March 2018. She tried chemotherapy but it stopped working. She was just put on hospice a week ago. They have just informed us that she may not make it another week. My mother did not have a life insurance policy. I purchased one for her but it would only kick in if she survives two years.  Mom didn't have much money and Jeff ( her other half)  is on disability.  David and I don't have enough money to cover what it takes to give her a proper funeral service and provide a headstone. We are hoping to be able to purchase a double headstone so that she can share a headstone with our brother John who has been without a headstone since 1996. We don't know what else to do. We didn't expect to lose our mother at only 62 years old. With advice from friends, we are reaching out here on Go Fund Me for help so our family can provide a proper funeral service for mom and a headstone for mom and our brother John.
