Lynn Rae was diagnosed in 2010 with Breast Cancer. She had radiation, then chemo followed by a double mastectomy and trans flap done for reconstruction. After taking 2-3 months for recovery she went to get ready for work. When stepping out of the tub, she fell and broke her right hip. She went in to surgery & they found a cyst on her femur. They removed the tumor & proceeded with the surgery. She recovered again for almost 3 yrs. Now her left hip and lower back are giving her so much pain that she can not work or stand sit fol long periods of time. She made an appointment with her specialist and had an MRI. At that time, she was told that her cancer had returned with a vengeance! She now has the diagnosis of Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer.

She has not worked for almost a month and was told by her Dr that he does not know when she will be back to work.

On October 21st 2015, Lynn Rae and her husband Scott will be married for 15 years. They have two beautiful children, Trevor and Annabelle.

Since the return in 2015, she has been off work & was labeled fall risk.  She has been dealing with Fatigue & lower body weakness.  In early November she was complaining about various things.  One Wednesday night/Thursday morning she was stuck in the bathroom.  Tried to get her to the bedroom.  Made it half way through Annabelle's room and just gave up.  She slept there for 3 hrs when husband checked on her.  Needless to say that 911 was called.  They took her to ER.  Admitted her.  She had 3 blood transfusions,  then 2 platelet transfusions.  Was in the hospital from Thursday afternoon till Tuesday afternoon.  That Saturday her Oncologist performed a Bone Biopsy.  That Monday we found out that the Cancer reached the marrow.  No transplant would help her.  They gave her a few weeks to a few months.  After a long 7 yr fight,  she took her last breath at 11: 28am on Friday 12/15/17.
