Mine and my husband’s families have hit on some difficult times. My father-in-law Scott lost his job 2.5 years ago and has literally lost everything. Because he is in his 60’s, he has been turned down for job after job after job. He has been denied by temp agencies, and even low level starting positions. They have had to sell their house and the majority of their possessions to move into my sister-in-law’s house. They have zero retirement, all their savings is gone except for a couple thousand dollars from the sale of their home. My mother-in-law Linda has chronic health problems and takes medication every month, that they’ve been paying for without insurance. We’ve been helping them as much as we can, but we aren’t able to give what we would like to all the time due to our own financial situation. If you have ever been in this situation and can give even a small amount, every little bit helps. We also plan on trying to make Christmas happen for them as well. We are hoping to help get them through this rough patch and allow them to have some savings once he finds a job. Thank you so much, love you all!+ Read More
I just wanted to reach out and express our continued gratitude for all that everyone has given! Thank you to all who have shared the link to the account, and who have looked at Scott’s resume on LinkedIn. Everything is appreciated so so much, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We are going to go ahead and discontinue the campaign at this time, but ask that you please continue to share the LinkedIn profile and send prayers. Thank you!

We were able to finally tell Scott and Linda that we had over $1,800 in donations from our campaign! The funds are officially transferred, and to say it was a well received blessing would be a huge understatement. The weight has been lifted briefly and a few more bills will be paid this month (and we made them promise to go on a nice date for their anniversary coming up this month). Expressions of gratitude don’t seem adequate, but we truly ARE grateful for everyone who has helped and is helping continue this with us. Thank you so much! Let’s go ahead and spread the word, we are sharing this to social media as much as possible!
We are completely floored and thrilled with all of the donations! We will be presenting Linda and Scott with the cash in the next few weeks, and it sounds as though they’ll be able to get a flight in January to visit Linda’s mother. This wouldn’t have been possible without all of your help, sincerely thank you so so much. If you could do one last thing for us and share the go fund me link in an email to those looking for opportunities to contribute, it would help immensely. Thank you again, this has been a humbling and touching experience. Much love to you all!
