Help Us Start over.

$595 of $2,500 goal

Raised by 11 people in 1 month
Hello!

This year I made the decision to make the leap to improve the quality of life for my partner and I. We moved from a moldy building that was making us both ill to a great urban apartment complex.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control our move cost us almost $3,000 dollars more than we budgeted for due to delays, flaky movers/helpers.

I work full time and my partner is disabled.

Currently we need to raise $2500 to finish this move and get our lives restarted.

Due to some unexpected extra expenses and a medical bill for me, we haven't been able to get our old apartment paid off.

Here is what we will be using the funds for:
800$ for move out payment.
490$ for med bill.
150$ for two months health related expenses.
300$ groceries/staples.

Half of any further funds will go into replenishing our savings and the other half will go towards regular expenses until we are caught up and have room to breath.

If I surpass my goal, I have chosen family members I would like to be able to support. Several of my close family have had major disasters and it is my goal to be able to help them as folks have helped me.

Thank you for reading.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!

Y'all thank you so much. I've been able to take care of TWO bills that I'd forgotten about in the chaos of the move. That is amazing news.

All further funds raised will go towards my big looming last bill.

I've got 745.98$ left to raise and save.

What else have I been doing? All the hustle all the time.

Donors please watch for some thank you stuff.

And thanks for checking this out.

HI YOU!

Thanks for visiting. I have updates!!

235 DOLLARS RAISED OMG!

This is awesome. If you're curious where that cash has gone here is what I've been able to accomplish.

I paid off one old bill related to the old place.
I bought groceries (good fresh food for us)
And the remainder is going to go towards the largest move out cost, the final invoice from them.

We still need help with:

490$ for med bill.
150$ for two months health related expenses.
300$ groceries/staples.
~

After those needs are met I will be sending money to several chosen family members who are having emergencies/ongoing need.

If I am able to fully fund this fundraiser, monies beyond what I need will be distrubted to a list of folks I know who need help with things like Grad school, medical bills and survival.

Thanks for coming. If you can't donate please share this in your networks and use your social capital and your networks to help change our lives.
