They Just Want To Be Parents

My name is Kearsten. My brother David and sister in law Stacy want nothing more than to be parents. After going through 5 miscarriages, they finally had a pregnancy that made it a full 9 months! Their son was due this coming April 12th. He was an active little guy from the first time Stacy felt him inside her, always kicking and letting her know he was there. A few days ago, she hadnt felt a kick in a bit and knew something was wrong. Stacy went immediately to the doctor, where they couldnt find a heartbeat, and told her the baby had not survived. She went through over 30 hours of labor and was able to bring our little angel into the world. He was perfect in every way,as you can see by his amazing hand and foot prints in the picture above. Even though our hearts are so broken over the loss of this little boy, Dave and Stacy still want nothing more than to be parents. They are exploring the possibilities of adoption and/or gestational surrogacy. The costs are much higher than any of us could have ever imagined. Not to mention, during all of Stacy's pregnancy issues, her insurance company dropped her maternity coverage, without warning. So on top of all this, their medical bills are through the roof.  Their new insurance did not go into effect yet, so they will have to pay the entire hospital bill from the labor and delivery, on top of trying to adopt or have a surrogate.  They don't want finances to hold them back from being able to give all of their  love to a baby, and I am trying to do anything I can to be able to make their dreams come true.   Thank you's will never be enough, and both they, and all of our families will be forever grateful to everyone who supports them during this time.
