Love The One - Bringing Josh Home

Dr Cat and Dr Mary  - the two women  behind the amazing charity 'Love The One' in India have finally, formally and wonderfully adopted the baby boy they found left to die in a hospital 4 years ago.  Josh turned 4 today (woop!) and Cat and Mary's greatest wish is to bring him back to the UK to meet his family here. 

Cat and Mary have lived and worked in India helping some of the country's poorest children for 12 years.  I have been and seen what they do, and it is unbelievably hard, unbelievably tiring. They educate, treat, love and fight for hundreds of vulnerable kids day in, day out. I could not do it. 

I have set up this page as I know the pair desperately need a break before starting the adoption process for the other children in their family in Orissa, and returning to run a charity which is growing at a furious rate.  Right now, I think they are running on empty and have been for some time and I worry.

The money raised will simply pay for flights, food, petrol and campsites while they are here and back in India. It is not an extravagance or a holiday, but something that needs to happen, if they are to carry on doing what they do so miraculously.
