Angels for Allie and her family

Donation protected

Hi Everyone, I'm putting together this go fund me page for my friend Marie's daughter Allie and her family. They are in need of financial help to pay some hefty hospital bills and costs of living due to their inability to work full time to support their family. Those of you that know Marie know that she's not one to ask for help often. She's a ray of sunshine in the worst of storms but she and her family need our help. Be an angel for Allie and her family and donate to their family. Any amount will help ease their burden.

Heres a little more about Allie's story:
For those of you that know the family already know that Allie is their youngest daughter and was born with Down's syndrome. They moved away from their home in Guam to Texas to provide the best possible care and resources for her and their family. However, shortly after their move (April 2015) Allie was hospitalized for infantile spasms. After many back and forth visits to the hospital and adjustments of medications Allie seemed to be out of the woods. Just one month later her spasms continued to worsen and Marie had to quit her job to be at home to monitor her closely and to focus on getting her the resources she needed for Speech and Occupational therapy.
Then in September Allie was hospitalized with bronchiolitis. After recovering from this her spasms returned despite being maxed out on her medication. She was then re-admitted (in October) to the hospital for dehydration. They were able to get her stable enough to be released but just one short week later (November) she was back in the hospital after having woken up with troubled breathing, fever, coughing. She had contracted RSV.
For those that know Allie has been hospitalized now for nearly 5 months. Their family has endured this time separated from each other, Marie's husband Mark has had to take a modified work schedule to ensure care for their other children at home.
Marie is at the hospital daily missing her other kids at home.
after all this time in the hospital battling the ups and downs Allie is finally stable enough to be released home as long as she can get 24/7 at home nursing care BUT the hospital won't release her until Marie and her family are able to secure this care...but they haven't been able to get enough availability from the nursing staffing stations. So she's forced to stay in the hospital and continue to wrack up hospital bills and stay separated from her family.
We ask that you please help this family any way you can they've endured so much in such a short amount of time and need your help.
Thank you all in advance!
