Multiple Sclerosis Walk-Little Rock, AR
Donation protected
When I was 4 years old my mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. To this day its something that when I tell my friends they are not even sure what the disease is, I've always wanted to do something to help, so this year I'm going to participate in the MS Walk.
Multiple Sclerosis is an inflammatory disease in which the insulating covers of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are damaged. This damage disrupts the ability of parts of the nervous system to communicate, resulting in a wide range of signs and symptoms, including physical, mental, and sometimes psychiatric problems. MS takes several forms, with new symptoms either occurring in isolated attacks (relapsing forms) or building up over time (progressive forms). Between attacks, symptoms may go away completely; however, permanent neurological problems often occur, especially as the disease advances.

On April 12th, 2014, a group of my friends, my mother, and myself will be walking in the MS Walk, to raise awareness and donations for Multiple Sclerosis. Even if its just a couple dollars, please help me raise the money for a good cause.
Thanks and Love,
Talia Winkler
