Denise's Medical Fund in Olathe, KS

A very difficult and long road is nearing the end for my dear Sister-in-law, Denise Rothwell, in Olathe, KS.  Diagnosed a little over 4 years ago with Stage IV cancer, Denise, my brother John and their 19 year old son, Nathan, have tirelessly done everything in their and their Doctor's powers to fight this aggressive disease that has just recently progressed to the point where Denise is now in Hospice care in Olathe.  

Her loving husband (my brother), John, has been trying to hold down his career as Executive Sous Chef at Johnson County Community College, while their son, Nathan just graduated from high school in May.  Nathan has been instrumental in assisting his mom this summer and has given up all the 'good times' that summertime usually means for a young man, so that he can do all he can to be supportive;  helping Mom while Dad works - but now that things have developed to this point, Dad (John) has been there every day, staying by Denise's side, offering loving care and support the best he can.  

Bottom line is the end is near.  Anxiety levels are rising and I, (Michael - John's brother) thought I could offer something by starting a modest gofundme campaign that would be a little something to help out with their climbing expenses, upcoming final expenses and perhaps something to help their son, Nathan out as he prepares to attend Johnson County Community College this fall.

I've arbitrarily set a $5000 goal, but any assistance would be appreciated for Denise, John & Nathan!  Any and all funds will go directly to John.  I'm just the one that's helping by setting this up.
