                          JAREMA FAMILY

      743 Trumbull Ave, Lawrenceville NJ

(Top left to right)  Home owners Halina and Jan Jarema were victims in yesterdays devastating fire.

(Bottom left to right) Barbara (Daughter-in-law) and Lukasz Jarema (Son of Halina and Jan)

The Jarema family was in the process of renovating their home and the new upgrades were almost complete.

Around 4:23PM on Saturday, November 25th, 2018 a loud explosion was heard by the surrounding community followed by sirens. Smoke everywhere, nothing and no one able to be seen in plain sight. Immediately the Jarema home caught fire. Within 10 minutes the fire covered the entire home. Luckily, Halina and Jan made it out of their home just in time by a split second. God was watching over the couple and saved them. Jan is currently suffering from second degree burns to the face, as well as burns down his back and arms. Their home continued to burn for over an hour leaving only the homes wooden framing. May God continue to look over the Jarema family and give them strength to overcome this difficult time.

We ask you to please continue to support the Jarema family during this trying time who is left with nothing but heavy hearts. Keep the family, Halina, and Jan in your prayers for a quick recovery <3

Jan was released from the hospital a few days ago. Jan and Halina are currently living with his sister. Due to his current state, Jan has been hesitant to see his granddaughter because he does not want to frighten her with the recent changes to his appearance.
He remains in pain after the surgery and will have to seek further medical assistance by going to physical therapy and seeing an optometrist. Jan and Halina are still traumatized by the tragic memory of the house fire, and relive it on a daily basis. They are doing the best they can to return to their normal state of mind.

Lukasz returned to what is left of his parents home to see if any belongings could be found. To his surprise, he found two angels from Poland that were completely black covered in ashes and debris. After a few washes the angels return to their original white color as if they were brand new. The family hung these two angel on their christmas tree as a reminder that the angels above were looking down on Halina and Jan and saved their lives. Lukasz also found a burned ruined bag that Halina had with important documents, their passports and pictures of her mother, father, and brother who are all deceased which remain in tact. He also found a melted plastic box with a rosary in it which also remains perfectly untouched.

Thank you to all of you who have contributed by donating, reposted, and shared their story. Please continue to support the Jarema family in any way you can, especially during this holiday season that should be filled with nothing but joy and happiness. Please keep them in your prayers.

I want to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!

Wszystkim ofiarodawcom życzymy wesołych i spokojnych Świąt Bożego Narodzenia.
