Feeding 500 Hungry Children

£70 of £2,000 goal

The William Stewart Foundation started out trying to help 200 hungry orphans in the immediate vicinity of Ibuluma in Northern Malawi. Levison and his team of volunteers have been feeding these children twice a week but, as word spreads, more and more hungry children are arriving. Some of them are walking 17km to get to the resource centre for a meal. Recently, numbers have been over 500. This is a huge undertaking to give food and hope to so many starving children. We gratefully acknowledge the support we have received so far but none of us envisaged the numbers swelling from 200 to 500+. All of them need a meal and none should be turned away hungry. Please help us to continue this vital work. £10 will feed one child for a year (2 meals a week atm) This is such a small amount per child.... but 500+ children.... it soon becomes a real challenge... thank you for your generosity.

Please help us feed the hungry children of Northern Malawi. We started out with a plan to feed 200 orphans, then numbers have been rising to over 500. Today over 700 children turned up, some having walked miles. Word is spreading that the Foundation is feeding hungry and desperate children. We need money to feed these children and give them hope. Please help. £10 will provide a child with 2 meals a week for a year. Please share with your friends too. We can make a difference and bring hope. Thanks

Today I was very thankful to be invited to speak to members of two local churches about the work we are doing in Northern Malawi. Particularly, I focused on the high numbers of hungry children that we are struggling to feed each weekend. Levison has told me today there were another 521 children came to the centre and all were fed. Please help us find the money to continue feeding so many children who have nothing. Thank you.
