On Monday, April 1, parents of current students enrolled at Valley Forge Military Academy & College (VFMAC) began their legal battle in Federal Court against Valley Forge Military Academy and College, Valley Forge Military Academy Foundation Board of Trustees, and John English as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT).
Parents believe that the continued actions of the Board are not in the best interest of the cadets and VFMAC, and that the BOT has abdicated its fiduciary duty to VFMAC. They demand changes.
Valley Forge Military Academy and College has been in existence since 1928 and we are looking forward to our cadets graduating from VFMAC and walking arm in arm with current alumni who are fighting alongside us. We are working hard to make our school a “schoolontherise.
We are asking for your help to continue fighting for the cadets of VFMAC and for the school, which is in danger of closing if changes are not made.
My name is Kim Roe and my son is a cadet at VFMAC. I will be withdrawing the funds from this account and sending the money to an escrow account with the lawyer for the parents to pay for the legal fees.
Parents and Alumni can keep updated on our battle by joining our Facebook group at Capshield1928. You can also join our email list by sending an email to [email redacted]
