Better Living Conditions For Me And My Mother

I am trying to pay off my debt to fix my credit so that I can buy a home for me and my mother to live. We moved to Indianapolis from the Bronx A few years ago. I take care of my mother completely , from driving her everywhere to shopping for her on top of maintaining a full time job as a police officer . She lives with me. The house we live in is not in a safe neighborhood and I want to move us out of here. My debt is 9,000 but they will settle for a full payment of 5,000 . My debt is with Regional Acceptance. It is the only thing stopping us from getting out of here. Please help if you can. God Bless.
