Hello!
My name is Shania, and I'm from Canada, and currently work as an English Teacher in South Korea. Starting this November I will be volunteering with a group called “Teach North Korean Refugees” (TNKR).
I've started this campaign to help raise money for a organization called Teach North Korean Refugees (TNKR), and to fund my trips from Jeonju to Seoul as a volunteering teacher there.
TNKR is an organization that connects volunteer tutors/teachers with North Korean refugees, and allows North Korean refugees access to English learning. English language learning is essential for many of the refugee's career and academic goals, and also allows them to connect with people globally.
I will be volunteering for this organization for 3 months (the amount of time I have left in Korea), and would love to have reached my $100 goal by then! Your donation no matter how small would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
