Sammie, The Shih Tzu NEEDS OUR HELP

Donation protected
Meet Sammie!

This amazing one year old Shih Tzu has a mast cell tumor in a very uncomfortable spot *ahem* (his penis) and we need your help to remove it (the tumor, not his penis, though it may come to that unfortunately)!

Sammies Story:
Sammie was brought to the Sacramento SPCA after cycling through numerous shelters. This sweet, kind-hearted soul had very little hope for adoption given his medical history. As most know, adopting a dog that has previous health issues isn't for everyone. Many dogs are left in shelters with no family to love and care for them. BUT! On September 24th, Sammie'a doggy prayers were answered and he found his forever home. He was adopted by his new mom, dad and sister, Sophie. Amber, Jason and Sophie were ecstatic to have a new family member and Sammie wasted no time making himself right at home!

Saddly, after only 2 weeks with his new family, Sammie's parents were devastated to discover that his mast cell tumor returned, and more aggressivly than before. While they always knew there was a significant chance of the tumor returning, they wanted to adopt this love-bug any way in the hopes of giving him the best life possible. Sammie deserves it! This family has unconditionally given their hearts, and now you can too.

Please join us in raising money for Sammie's surgery and treatment. Together as a community, as friends, as family, and as Sammie supporters, we can give this guy the world!

Please continue to share his story.
