Natalie's Fight Against Cancer
Natalie was diagnosed with a rare Malignant Sarcoma Tumor on 03/14/2017. Since this day she has undergone a power port insertion operation and has needed an emergency tracheostomy. Both Natalie and her parents have been in ICU since just finding out the diagnosis.
The pathologist that has reviewed her biopsy results state that her sarcoma is so rare that they can only assume to classify it as a Myxoid Sarcoma because of the aggression. Because Sarcomas are rare and few, there is little funding for this type of cancer. We are trying to do our best by reasearching and reaching out to Sarcoma specialist across the nation. However, only 1 consultation is free.
At this point we honestly have no idea what treatment would be best for her situation and are at a lost deciding if chemo is the answer.
Because of the size and placement of her tumor, we also have little time to gather as much info as we can and are hoping to have consults done asap.
